CarDisc International was founded by Alfa Romeo specialists over 25 years ago to satisfy the demand for original technical information for vintage & classic Alfa Romeo automobiles.
In August 1995 the very first Alfa Romeo Giulietta “CarDisc CD” was produced & sold. These CD-ROMs had the capability to take advantage of an innovative concept of disseminating thousands of pages of factory technical information in a thin, light weight and easily mailable format to be read on a computer. The days of borrowing factory manuals, making paper copies or buying stacks of books and publications was gone!
The technical information presented on the CarDisc CD featured factory literature on specific models. The CarDisc CD was targeted to both mechanics and enthusiasts who were involved in the maintenance, restoration and preservation of their automobile. The typical CarDisc CD would have Service Manuals, Owner’s Manuals, Parts Manuals, Sales Brochures, Technical Service Manuals and Bulletins.
Today, the information previously found on the CarDisc CD has improved image resolution and is now in Adobe PDF format. This makes it functional on both Windows and Mac platforms. This digital information is now available on DVD, USB Thumb Drive, or as a Download through a secure file transfer service.
